Cincinnati Art Museum
Cincinnati, OH

Client Space

The Cincinnati Art Museum's $11.1 million project adjacent of the building that formally housed the Art Academy underwent a three-story renovation. The refurbished building will house the art museum's offices on the first two floors while the third floor will be home to a new library and knowledge center. The library and knowledge center will make the museum's vast collection of catalogs and other resource materials more accessible to the public. Upon completion of the project the new space will free up about 16,000 square feet of space in the art museum that will be used to display more of the institution's 60,000 piece permanent collection.

Cincinnati Art Museum undergoes its first major renovation project in 40 years. While preserving its historic exterior walls and making extensive use of recycled materials the three story renovation of the 150 year old building now provides employees with an open air, fresh, new collaborative work environment.
