C-Forward, a managed services provider of IT solutions with clients throughout the Cincinnati region and Kentucky, had outgrown their corporate offices in downtown Covington, Kentucky and was looking to invest in an open office environment, amenities for clients and employees, and to become a destination employer for tech talent in Northern Kentucky. Working with PCA Architects and Manning Construction, C-Forward designed a new space to improve productivity and employee retention. The project team brought on RCF Group to aid in furniture and finish selections and procurement.

Challenged with a tight deadline and budget, RCF Group worked with the C-Forward team to choose the appropriate furniture choices that not only met their functional needs, but also added to the aesthetic and comfortable environment they were creating for their employees. RCF Group hosted a series of Design in Real Time (DIRT) sessions where the C-Forward team was able to realistically visualize their new space and make real-time design decisions about finishings and furniture option. This allowed the  team to discuss the budgetary influences of their choices and immediately find more value-driven options while still representing the brand and desired new culture.  

The new C-Forward headquarters is meant to feel like the employees’ “second home” and serve as a place where they can entertain clients, offer a flexible work environment, and continue to grow their client base and employees. RCF Group provided solutions for storage, workstations, conference rooms, shared private office spaces, training/collaboration room, reception, huddle rooms, a café, and employee favorite poker room. The new C-Forward office is now a modern mix of casual and professional with the flexibility built in for employees to flow between spaces depending on their preferred work styles and unique wants and needs.
