Cincinnati Ballet Margaret and Michael Valentine Center for Dance

As the Cincinnati Ballet outgrew its location in the West End of Cincinnati, they began planning a new space with more room to accommodate the additional employees and nine improved dance studios required to support their rapid enrollment and audience growth. The design intent was to create a strong and graceful space that encourages movement and growth. In 2021, the Cincinnati Ballet Margaret and Michael Valentine Center for Dance in Walnut Hills opened featuring interior solutions to accommodate both quiet, heads-down workspaces as well as collaborative, social spaces. Formal workstations and collaborative huddle rooms were needed for the office suites while lounge areas for dancers’ parents and guests, and café environments utilize flexible seating arrangements including soft seating, benches, and tables. With a variety of unique space types, the outcome represents the next phase in Cincinnati Ballet’s story.

"We are thrilled with the successful completion of the new Cincinnati Ballet Margaret and Michael Valentine Center for Dance. We extend our sincere gratitude to RCF Group for connecting with OMNIA Partners, Public Sector, to harness their group purchasing power that helped maximize every donor dollar in the furnishing of this remarkable space." -Scott Altman, President and CEO of the Cincinnati Ballet.
