VEGA Americas New Headquarters

VEGA Americas Inc. and RCF Group partnered to furnish VEGA’s new 90,000 SF headquarters located in Mason, OH. VEGA managed their own procurement process which required a trusted advisor to understand the project drivers, needs, and outcomes and for a furniture partner to advocate on their behalf. Through the furniture design process, RCF Group was able to assist on all coordination details for the large and complex installation to ensure the goals were met and no details were overlooked. Their previous three-building campus was not conducive to the way in which VEGA’s work was evolving and they needed a change. Their new local headquarters brings all their employees under one roof and impacts the way they work, collaborate, and connect with each other.

RCF Group worked closely with VEGA to review the Design Intent created by BHDP, the architect and interior design firm for the new building. Because of their close relationship, RCF Group understood that VEGA not only needed to maintain brand consistency across their global footprint, but they also needed to do so while uniquely representing their own office culture and sticking to a set budget. RCF Group hosted multiple Design in Real Time (DIRT) sessions to efficiently streamline the furniture design and finish selection process. RCF Group even sat with different departments to understand how their unique way of working could be facilitated with their new workstations and ultimately tweaked the design to improve the efficiency of space usage and employee productivity.

RCF Group’s personal and business connection with VEGA ensured the project was successfully delivered despite supply chain issues and the complexities of the industries. Open communication, additional service offerings, and the commitment to go above and beyond standard expectations were driving factors for the success of the project.
