Divisions Maintenance Group (DMG), a nationwide facility maintenance provider, was founded in 1999 in Newport, Kentucky. The company’s rapid growth meant local employees were split into three different buildings in Newport and Cincinnati, Ohio. DMG needed a new space to bring all their employees together under one roof — exemplifying the company’s motto of “As One.” This new headquarters needed to represent the future of the organization and serve as a place for DMG to innovate, grow and continue to recruit top talent.

The design for the new HQ at The Foundry in downtown Cincinnati draws on DMG’s reputation and history. To bring the space to life, DMG was looking for a partner who listened to their needs, wants and goals – someone who understood the challenges they were facing and was willing to work within the design guidelines set by DMG’s leadership and project team.

RCF Group joined the project team and quickly became a client advocate. We worked with the team to plan “neighborhoods” for each DMG department, with areas for quick meetings and collaboration. The plan also included plenty of amenities: three cafes, gaming tables, lounge seating, stadium seating, various meeting spaces – both formal and casual – and plenty of nooks and specialty workspaces to accommodate all work styles. The design allows for continued growth and expansion while maintaining the flair that brings DMG’s workplace to life.
