Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC), one of the nation’s leading pediatric medical centers, was seeking to relocate a group of researchers to a new off-campus location. This move wasn’t just about logistics, it was about creating a Class-A office environment that would elevate the employee experience, support innovation, and serve as a testing ground for new workplace strategies.

Sit-to-stand desks, for example, were introduced across the board, an entirely new standard for the organization. The final design incorporated a thoughtfully curated mix of workspace types to support both focused work and spontaneous collaboration. From private offices and quiet zones to open areas for team interaction, the space was designed to accommodate a wide range of work styles while fostering flexibility, comfort, and connection.
